When will Pet Loop be available for Android users?

Considering our small team, our current priority is iOS until there is a noticeable demand. We do not have a fixed timeline at the moment but will keep everyone updated as we progress.

Do the app and device work with Apple tablets?

Our priority is to provide the best experience possible for our customers. For that reason we've focused on Apple mobile phones and will consider tablets in the future if there's an obvious demand. We will keep everyone updated as we progress.

What languages does the app support?

At this time, our platform is only available in English.

Can more than one person connect to the app?

Currently, our platform only allows for one profile per account. However, we are excited to let you know that we have family accounts in development and they will be available in the near future!

Does Pet Loop work with multiple pups at once?

When it comes to tracking and training, we've primarily concentrated on one pup at a time. However, we have taken into account the potential for multiple pups in a future release.

That being said, Pet Loop remains an excellent option for households with multiple pups, particularly for indicating when they may need to go outside.

How long does the battery last?

Batteries can vary in quality and lifespan. In our experience with Pet Loop, we have observed battery durations ranging from 3 to 6 months. For best result we recommend alkalin batteries.

How does the device connect to the app?

The Pet Loop device and app are connected via bluetooth and rely on your device's location services. For the best experience, please ensure that your iOS app's location services are set to 'Always Allow'. We solely utilize location services for this specific purpose.

How do I know if Pet Loop will work reliably throughout my home?

During the development process, Pet Loop has undergone successful testing in various types of homes. These include small apartments, single-storey bungalows measuring 1,500 sq ft, and three-storey homes measuring 2,200 sq ft.

However, it is worth noting that there are some factors that can affect Pet Loop's performance depending on the unique nature of your home's construction.

Is the device compatible with my door?

The Pet Loop device is designed with a detachable loop and clasp, allowing the device to easily hang from most door handles found in modern homes. This innovative design ensures convenience and compatibility with the majority of door handles available on the market.

Can I use the app without the device?

The app allows you to manually track your dog's activity throughout the day, even without the device.

Can I get notifications while away from home?

We currently only send notifications when your mobile phone and app are within range of the Pet Loop device. If the mobile app goes out of range, the Pet Loop device will store the last activity event. Once the mobile app is back in range, a push notification is sent for you to review any missed events while you were away.
